Berger 180 Grain Hybrid Target 284 Caliber (7mm / .284 Diameter)
Berger Hybrid Target bullets are designed to achieve extreme accuracy for competitive and recreational target shooters. The Hybrid ogive combines a tangent ogive near the bearing surface with a secant ogive toward the tip, producing a bullet that is both easy to tune and aerodynamically superior. This 180 grain 284 Caliber projectile delivers exceptional consistency and minimal drag, making it the preferred choice for precision rifle competitors, F-Class shooters, and long-range enthusiasts who demand repeatable performance at every distance.
Key Features
- Hybrid Ogive: Blends tangent and secant nose shapes—starts as a tangent near the bearing surface for easy tuning, transitions to a secant for maximum aerodynamic efficiency
- J4 Precision Target Jacket: The most consistent and concentric copper jackets in the world, held to +/- 0.0003" tolerance
- Hollow Point Boat Tail (HPBT): The boat tail reduces base drag while the hollow point tip ensures consistent aerodynamic performance
- Seating Depth Tolerant: The hybrid design minimizes sensitivity to seating depth, making it easier to find accuracy across a wide range of chambers
- Competition Proven: Used by champions in PRS, F-Class, Palma, and long-range benchrest competitions worldwide
